RENTAL TERM
The rental term for each Rented Vehicle rented hereunder shall commence on the requested delivery date listed in the agreement hereto and end on the expiration date specified in the agreement hereto. A Rented Vehicle may be accepted prior to the requested delivery date but payment by Renter will not commence prior to the requested delivery date specified in the Schedule “A,” unless it is put into service earlier. Payment by Renter for the Rented Vehicle will commence when the Rented Vehicle is put into service. The Renter reserves the right to extend any rental term for any particular Rented Vehicle, including equipment if applicable, at a price agreed to by both parties.
PAYMENT
Payment is made for upcoming usage. The Renter agrees to leave a deposit (in cash, interact or e-transfer) with the Rental Agency for the sum indicated on the previous page for any potential tolls and tickets. The deposit will be refunded 30 days after the return of the vehicle in the same method as received. Renter will also pay Rental Agency the daily rate as indicated on page 1, in e-transfer, credit card or cash. Late payments of over 24h will be calculated with a 2% compound monthly interest rate.
TICKETS AND TOLLS
The Renter is responsible for any and all tickets and tolls received during the period of operating the Rental Agency’s vehicle. The Renter would be paying his own violations. If the agreement is that the Rental Agency pays for the violation, a $29 administrative fee will be applied to each violation paid by the Rental Agency.
MAINTENANCE
The Rented Vehicle is offered as shown and agreed upon. The Rental Agency is responsible for maintenance of the Vehicle. Renter is responsible for wipers, oil changes every 10,000 km, and adding washer fluid. Excessive wear and tear may be billed to Renter at the end of the rental period.
EXCESSIVE WEAR AND TEAR
The Renter agrees to service the Rented Vehicle and keep the same in good mechanical condition during the term hereof, including, but not limited to, repair work (except as indicated otherwise), lubrication, change or additions of oil, filling with antifreeze and all other work necessary to keep the Rented Vehicle in good mechanical and operating condition. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that the Vehicle is regularly maintained and is kept in good repair. Regular repair includes, but is not limited to, excessive wear and tear which includes, but is not limited to, the following, even if covered by the Renter’s Insurance Policy: cracked or damaged glass; dented or damaged body parts; missing equipment or accessories that were provided with the Vehicle; damage to the interior of the Vehicle; or mechanical damage that affects the safe, proper, or lawful operation of the Vehicle that would cause a failed safety inspection in the Province in which this Rental Agreement was signed.
If the Vehicle has excess wear and tear, there will be a charge to the Renter for the excess wear and tear, unless the Renter has purchased the “excessive wear and tear protection plan.” If the Renter has purchased this plan, it will follow the plan value per item. During the term, any damaged or lost parts, equipment, or accessories may be replaced with items of equal or better quality and construction, and replacement items that meet the standard will be accepted as replacements upon return of the Vehicle.
RETURN PROCESS
The Vehicle will be visually inspected by both the Renter and Rental Agency upon the return. Any new damage of over 3 inches not previously documented will be charged to the Renter. The gas level is given 8/8th and must be returned same at no additional charge. If the Renter wants to return the Vehicle earlier, they must pay 50% of the balance owed. If the Renter wants to keep the car beyond the Agreement, the same payment plan continues. The Renter must advise the Rental Agency.

Any other accidents, the Renter is responsible for up to the value of the car for deductible. Any illegal activities conducted by the Renter that would void Renter’s insurance will be prohibited, in which case the Renter is responsible for monthly payments and any fees incurred by the Renter until a resolution is achieved. If the Renter refuses PBCM-Road Refined protection and chooses the protection of his own insurer, the Renter declares that he has insurance covering all the risks for liability and collisions for rental vehicles and that the insurance is valid.
